Isaiah 40:29-31

Isaiah 40:29-31 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. I am getting to be an old man. But I can remember in 1968 when I ran 17 miles in a race from Dayton, Tennessee to Spring City Tennessee. But now, I can only run to the dining room table. Our verses for today tell us that God will give us the daily strength that we need. He gives strength to the faint. God is the source of our energy. Even when strong people give up, God’s strength is still there; God’s energy is still available to us.
