Isaiah 57:20,21

Isaiah 57:20,21 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. Have you ever sat right at the ocean’s edge and watched the waves? They crash onto the beach with a jumble of shell pieces and boiling sand. The waves never ever rest. They keep crashing, retreating, and crashing again over and over again. God says the troubled sea is like the wicked man. He cannot rest. He never stops. He is always working on more trouble. If the wicked man ever stops and thinks, he would realize his sin. But he doesn’t want to think about his sin. He only wants to keep busy and NOT think. That is because he has no peace. The wicked man does not know the Prince of Peace. When you trust in Jesus, you have rest. You have no guilt. You have the peace of God. Isn’t Jesus wonderful?
