Ezekiel 36:23 And I
will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye
have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the
LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. God
had to punish the Children of Israel because they had sinned. But part of their
sin was that they did it before the heathen nations. The Israelites mocked the
name of the Lord God . God expects the heathen people to be sinners, but not
the Israelites. They should have obeyed God, but they didn’t. What a shame. I
hope that we honor our Lord with our testimony before out unsaved neighbors and
friends. We should be a good example for the Lord.
