I Timothy 2:3,4

I Timothy 2:3,4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Some people say that God has planned some people to go to heaven and some people to go to hell. But that doesn’t sound like a God of love to me. If you are one of the ones going to heaven, you will like that kind of thinking. But if you are one of the others, oh well, too bad. But the truth of the matter is, it is not up to us or up to our thinking. Going to heaven is up to God. After all, God is in charge of heaven and God is the one who decides who will get into his heaven. So, back to our verse. What does God say? Who does God want to be saved? That’s right! God wants everyone to be saved. God has made a way for everyone to be saved. The decision is up to us. Once we decide for God, He gives us the conviction of our sin and the free gift of salvation. Thank you, Lord, for our salvation!
