I Timothy 3:16 And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the
flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world, received up into glory. While writing to young
Timothy, Paul is suddenly overwhelmed by the wonder of the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. Isn’t it amazing how that the Creator of the Universe could be born as
a baby?! Isn’t it almost beyond understanding how that God could become a man?!
Why should God love us so much that He would give His only begotten Son to pay
for our sins on the cross of Calvary?! Hey, I’m with Paul – God’s love and
salvation is beyond my understanding! Thank you, dear Lord for our great salvation!
