Paul was invincible.
He was like the Ever Ready Bunny.
He just couldn’t be stopped. Paul
and Silas were beaten with lashes until their backs were like hamburger
meat. Then they were locked into a
nasty, dank prison with their feet in stocks and chains around their
wrists. So, did they whine and complain? No! Quite
the contrary! At midnight, they were
singing and praising God! Paul said in
II Corinthians 4:8&9, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;
we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down,
but not destroyed.” Hey, don’t give
up! Keep on trusting the good Lord, like
Paul … and the Ever Ready Bunny.
