Hebrews 13:2 Be not
forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels
unawares. There are a few times in the Bible when God sent angel to visit a
human. What about Jacob? What about Abraham? What about Lot? What about Mary?
And Zacharias? And Joseph? And every time the humans were so scared that the
first thing that the angel said was, “Fear not.” But sometimes, as our verse
indicated, angels may just appear as another human being. There may not be
anything extraordinary about them. We wouldn’t recognize them as angels. God
may send them to help us or to help us to see ourselves a little better. So,
when you see someone who needs help, be sure to help them. They just might be
an angel that God is using to see what kind of a Christian you are. And I hope
you pass God’s test.
