Hebrews 4:15

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Over the years, I have had many jobs and worked for many bosses. Some bosses had been to college and thought that they knew how to run a business. But there were other bosses who had started at the bottom of the company and worked their way up. Years ago, they started working where the lowest worker is working, and then they gradually worked up to a better job with more responsibilities. They became a better boss because they understood what each worker had to do. They knew the easy parts of the job, and they knew the hard parts of the job. They could better manage the company because they had worked all the jobs from the bottom up. And so it is with Jesus, our high priest in heaven. Jesus knows us and understands up because He once was a human just like us. He endured all the problems that we must endure. He was frustrated with all the things that frustrate us. Yet, Jesus was perfect. Jesus overcame our world’s problems and Jesus can help us overcome our world’s problems. He is a perfect high priest because He knows where we are, and He is ready to help us!
