Leviticus 7:37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings. God gave Israel five different types of offerings, and they are listed here in our verse for today: the Burnt offering, the Peace offering, the Sin offering, the Trespass offering, and the Meat or Meal offering. Each offering had a different purpose and a different procedure. The priests knew what to do and how to perform each offering properly. Each of these offerings were shown in the four New Testament Gospels as pictures of Jesus Christ, God’s perfect Lamb. Jesus is our perfect sacrifice!
