Leviticus 9:22-24

Leviticus 9:22-24 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people. And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. When we are right before the Lord, everything goes well. And everyone knows it! It’s like the perfect day. You wake up and realize that there is no school. And you realize that your sisters spent the night with a friend, so your mother is making pancakes and bacon – just for you. Wait a minute! Actually you wake up and realize that your brother spent the night with one of his friends and you got to sleep in until noon. And you are now enjoying a twenty-minute hot, hot shower. Things just go better when we serve the Lord. You see, it’s Jesus Christ that makes everything good. Aaron offered the right sacrifice and then God’s glory came powering in. And then a consuming fire licked up the sacrifice from God’s glory, meaning that God was pleased with everyone’s sacrifice. And then everyone we so happy that God was pleased that everyone just shouted and cheered and gave high fives to each other. God is great and God is good! And everything was right that day!
