Isaiah 9:6 For unto
us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon
his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty
God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. This is one of the
wonderful verses of prophecy about the coming Messiah. Jesus Christ was born in
a lowly stable to common ordinary parents. But there was nothing ordinary about
baby Jesus. He grew up to be a wonderful man Who was the Redeemer of all
mankind. I am glad Jesus was born and I am glad for this verse telling about
His birth some 700 years before it happened. You can trust the Bible. It is
true!
