II Thessalonians
1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them
that trouble you; Have you ever been mistreated? I have. Have you ever just
wanted to get even with a person who mistreated you? I have. But after I let my
temper spill over onto this person, even though they deserved my wrath, I was
always sorry that I said those harsh words. So what is our take away advice for
today? Don’t take up for yourself; let God take care of unfair treatment. It is
much better for God to get even with someone for us, than for us to
return evil to someone who has been unkind to us. Remember, let God take up for
us. He knows what is best to do. Don’t get even; be sweet.
