I Thessalonians 5:11

I Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. Christians need to encourage each other, and Christians need to stick together. That is what our verse is saying. To comfort someone means to pat them on the back and to say, “It’s going to be OK”. To edify means to build up and say, “You are a real encouragement to me. Now, what can I do to encourage you?” That’s what we should be doing for each other. Encouraging and building up each other.
