Luke 2:17-19

Luke 2:17-19 And when they (the shepherds) had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. It was exciting for the shepherds to tell the news about the new-born Christ child. And everyone who heard the story was just as amazed as the shepherds were. Bethlehem and the surrounding country were all abuzz with the news. Wise men from the East had seen the Christmas star and were just at that moment following it towards Bethlehem. Wicked King Herod would be jealous of the new-born King and would attempt to kill Him. But God would guard His dear Son. And Jesus would grow into man-hood and live to be the sacrifice for all of our sins. Jesus was God’s most precious gift to sinful mankind. We should give thanks to God for His wonderful gift, His dear Son, Jesus.
