I Corinthians 12:1,4-6

I Corinthians 12:1,4-6 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. We do not choose what country that we were born in. Neither do we choose which talents we are going to have.  These are Of God’s choosing. So when we are talented more than someone else, we can’t take the credit; we can only give God the thanks for our talent. And if we have no talent, we can’t blame ourselves or blame God. That is the way He wanted us to be. God decides. That is because in the body of Christ, the church, there can only be one pastor. There may be several assistants and many Sunday School teachers and many, many members, but God decides who is going to be what.  So, do we need piano players? Yes. Do we need janitors? Absolutely. Do we need someone to operate the microphones? Yes, we do. There are many people needed in God’s church. So what is our job in the church? Well, our job is to try to help out where we feel comfortable or where we feel needed. And when we are doing the job that God has made us to do, we will feel God’s smile. And that is a great thing to feel!
