I Corinthians 15:55-57

I Corinthians 15:55-57 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Have you ever got a shot at the doctor’s office? It really isn’t that bad, but you worry and worry about it before you get it. On the way, you think about how much it’s going to hurt. But when you get the shot, it’s all over so quickly. Hey, it wasn’t really that bad! And that’s the way it is with death. We worry about death, but it isn’t that bad, because the dear Lord is with you all of the time. After all, death is the door that opens up into eternal life. Actually, it is the only door to eternal life. Oh, to be sure, there is a sting in death, just like the sting of the shot at the doctor’s office. The sting of the shot is quickly over. And the sting of death will quickly be over and we will be enjoying the wonder of God’s beautiful heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Remember, Jesus has already been through death and He will be with you all of the way. Jesus will never let you down.
