Mark 1:35-38

Mark 1:35-38 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth. Jesus Christ knew what his purpose was: He came to seek and to save the lost. And He was in perfect agreement with His heavenly Father on the matter. That’s because He was in constant contact with His Father in prayer. Jesus knew that He needed fellowship with His Father, so he made time to be with His Father. And when Jesus’ disciples found Him missing, they knew where they could find Him. That is because Jesus must have often gotten up early to be with His Father in prayer. And so it is with us. We need to take the time to read our Bible and to pray. Just like Jesus, we need time with our heavenly Father too. And that’s exactly what you are doing right now. You are meeting with your heavenly Father. Jesus did it, and so do you. Amen!
