Mark 4:38-41

Mark 4:38-41 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? Question: did Jesus act like He was scared of the storm? No, He even went to sleep. So what was the disciples’ problem?! What were they worried about?! Jesus wouldn’t let them drown! So Jesus rebuked the wind and the storm, and then He rebuked the disciples. Jesus said, “Why are you afraid? Where is your faith?” And the disciples were like whipped puppy dogs. They were too ashamed to say anything to Jesus. But they murmured to each other, “Wow!! What kind of a man is this that the storm even obeys His commands?!” And they were right! Jesus was no ordinary man. He was the Son of Man. God in the flesh!
