Judges 3:9,10

Judges 3:9,10 And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim. Wow! Now that’s a hard name to say! Choo-shan-rye-sha-tham. Israel had rebelled against God and God had sent Chushanrishathaim to punish them. And when they had had enough, Israel prayed to the Lord in repentance. God heard them and sent Othniel to deliver them. Othniel came from a great family. Caleb, Joshua’s sidekick, was his uncle. Joshua and Caleb had been fearless and passed their boldness on to Othniel. And boldness for God is exactly what Israel needed. Hey, that’s exactly what we need too! Boldness for God. I pray that you will be bold for God this week.
