Titus 3:8,14

Titus 3:8,14 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. We are saved by the grace of God - our salvation is not by works at all. But after God saves us, He expects us to have a changed life. He expects us the be a better person. God expects a saved person to do good works. Our verse tells us not to be unfruitful. An apple tree is planted for one reason: to grow apples. God saves us to please Him and to help others. Those good things are our good works that we should maintain. Are you saved? Then do good works and show that you are saved.
