Revelation 1:17,18
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon
me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth,
and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of
hell and of death. When the apostle John saw Jesus Christ in all of His
glory, he fell down as a dead man. But Jesus had an important job for John to
do, so Jesus put His right hand upon John and reassured him that everything was
going to be OK. Jesus told John not to be afraid, for Jesus was in control.
Often we have problems in our lives and Jesus must reassure us too. Remember, Jesus
is with you and everything will be OK. Don’t fear; trust Jesus. Jesus was alive
and then dead, but Jesus is alive forever more! He is alive and in charge!
