Mark 13:31 Heaven
and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. Now that’s a
pretty awesome statement! The Word of God that you hold in your hands, the
Bible, will last longer than the earth or the heavens above the earth! That
tells me two things: first, God’s Word is durable – it will last forever. The
enemies of the Bible will never be able to stomp it out! The Bible will outlast
everyone who opposes it. And second, God’s Word is special – it will endure for
all time. God has spoken His words into the Word of God and God will never ever
change His mind. God is the same today and forever. And God’s Word is the same
today and forever. You can count on that!
