Mark 14:34,35

Mark 14:34,35 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch. And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. After the Last Supper, Jesus and the disciples went out to the Mount of Olives. Jesus often went there to rest and think. It was late at night and Jesus asked his disciples to pray with Him. Jesus knew that He was facing death the very next day. Jesus wanted to buy our salvation, but He did not want to take on our sin. Jesus was the perfect Son of God and ahd never known any sin at all. But the next day, He was going to take on Himself the sins of the whole world! If there was any other way, Jesus wanted it. But if there was no other way, Jesus was willing to do it. What love for us and what obedience to God the Father! And Jesus did it all for us!
