Mark 14:9 Verily I
say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole
world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her. When
the woman poured out the costly perfume on Jesus, she spent a lot of her money
to show her love for Him. Some people didn’t think that her actions were right.
Some people criticized her for what she did. But Jesus said that everywhere
that the Bible would be read, people for years and years to come would be
reading about this woman’s sacrifice. She made good use of her money. She used
the valuable perfume on Jesus and we are still reading about it over two
thousand years later!
