Mark 13:5-7,10

Mark 13:5-7,10 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. The disciples were interested in the end times. And I am interested in the end times too! So how is everything going to end up? Well, Jesus said not to let anyone fool you. Many false teachers would come and claim to be Christ. But they are not. Hard times would come, but the end would not be yet. So what did Jesus say would begin the end times? Jesus said, “When the Gospel would be preached in all nations.” So taking the Gospel to other people will do two important things: First, it will assure that everyone will have the chance to be saved. And secondly, it will fulfill the prophecy of Jesus, and will bring about the Second Coming of Jesus and begin the final days of earth’s history. So taking the Gospel to all people is important. It is important to Jesus, and it should be important to us too!
