I was reminded last week of how my mother would fill up her old station wagon with kids and take them to church. What a great legacy! I remember riding to church with my Granny Whitely (who lived next door to us) and her taking three neighbor kids with her in her old 1954 Ford. What a great idea! Don’t go to church with an empty back seat. Invite neighbor kids to go with you. Hey, if we would all bring a neighbor to church with us, our attendance at church would double! But someone isn’t doing their part. Ouch! The earthly brother of Jesus said in Jude verse 22, “And of some have compassion, making a difference.” Hey, make a difference to someone today.
