Friday afternoon, I went canoeing with my youngest grandson on the West Chickamauga Creek (Cloud Springs put-in). I bought an old canoe in Louden, TN for $100. It was a fixer upper, but I have the time and skillsets (sort of) to do it. Since I will be taking kids in it, I added two seats to make it a four-seater. With pressure washing, new seats, and new bracing, she performed well. I’m glad that the dear Lord does the same in my spiritual life. God takes a useless sinner (like me) and makes him a new creation! What a blessing for me, and what an undertaking for the Lord! And only God has the skillsets to make a sinner into a saint. II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” What a transformation the dear Lord can make in a life! He can do it for you too! Yes, He can!
