Deuteronomy 28:1,2
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of
the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command
thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of
the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if
thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. God gave Israel a
promise. He gave them a promise with a condition. And a similar conditional
promise applies to us too. God promised Israel that if they would listen and
obey His Words, God would bless them above all of the nations of the earth. And
God will bless us and bless our nation above all the nations of the earth if we
listen to God and obey God’s commandments. So really, the choice is up to us.
God will do His part – He will bless us – if we do our part. If
we obey and listen to God’s Words, He will bless us. And don’t forget: God
