II Timothy 3:14

II Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. In II Timothy 2:2 we were told to follow Paul’s example. And here we are reminded to continue to follow Paul’s good example. But here we are given a good reason to follow the good example of Paul. Sometimes we hear, “The proof is in the pudding.” What does that mean? Well if you see a good recipe, how do you know if it is a good recipe or not? Well, you follow the recipe and then you eat what you just made. If the pudding is good, the recipe was good! Pretty simple, right? So our verse says that we should look at the lives of different people and decide which life is the one that you would like to be like. Then just continue in that way. If we continue to follow Paul’s good example, we will be - becoming what we want to be!
