II Timothy 3:1,2

II Timothy 3:1,2 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves … Paul lived almost 2,000 years ago, but he thought that the second coming of Jesus Christ was just around the corner. Well it wasn’t. But how much closer must the second coming of Christ be? And Paul warns Timothy – and us – to be ready for difficult times. Peter warned of the same perilous tomes in II Peter 3. Both men said that we should be ready for Jesus to come back again. The first time that Jesus came to earth, he was born in a lowly stable. But the second time that Jesus comes, He will come in power. He will call His people up to meet Him in the air, both those who are buried and those who are alive. We will all go up together and forever be with Jesus Christ, our Lord. So first the bad news and then the good news: First the perilous times will come, but then, we will be out of here! We will be home with Jesus forever and forever! Praise the Lord!
