II Timothy 2:11

II Timothy 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: The word if is a small word, but it is an important conditional word. If we do something, Jesus Christ will do something in return. So, as Christians, what should we do?  We should turn our backs on the world and put Jesus Christ first in our lives. So, if we put Jesus first in our lives, what has He promised to do for us? Well our verse says that Jesus has promised us a resurrection life. If we live for Him now then He will give us eternal life with Him forever and forever. Hey, that’s a pretty good deal, isn’t it? But we don’t serve Jesus for a good deal; we serve Jesus because we love Him. He has done so much for us that we love Him right back. I love Jesus, don’t you?!
