Jude 3 Beloved,
when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was
needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly
contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Have you
ever heard of a boxing contender? That
is the same word in our verse. We shouldn’t just let someone tell false things
about Jesus Christ; we should stand up for Jesus and fight for Him! That
doesn’t mean that we should be contentious, but we should stand up for what’s
right … in a kind way. We should never let error slide by. We should always
speak up for Jesus Christ. After all, Jesus stood up for us; we should stand up
for Him!
