II Samuel 22:47 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock;
and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. These are exciting words
written by David as he praised the Lord in song. David said the God was a rock.
When you think of a rock, you think of something that is solid and is
immovable. And that is true of the Lord. He is solid and will not be moved.
David went on to praise the Lord for his salvation. God had delivered David from
his enemies, including Saul. And for that, David wanted to praise the Lord. And
just like people would come into David the king and bow down to him, David
would come before God and bow down to God and worship God. Good words, David!
