I Peter 4:1,2

I Peter 4:1,2 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. Our verses talk about the flesh and lusts and sin. These are the evil things from our old sinful nature. But, Jesus, the Son of God, died for all of those sins! Praise the Lord! And our verse says that if Jesus died for our sins, we don’t have to live in sin any longer! Praise the Lord once again! Now we are free from sin to do the will of God. Like the chorus says, “The things I used to do, don’t do them any more.” Why? The song continues, “There’s been a great change since I’ve been born again!”
