II Peter 1:5-7

II Peter 1:5-7 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. After we are saved, we have just started to be becoming like Jesus Christ. Salvation isn’t the end; it is the beginning. There is nothing more that we need in order to be saved, but God has things for us to do after we are saved. It’s just like Lego blocks. You start with the base and build upon that. You add block after block until you have built something nice, like a house. There are many good things that we need to add to our lives in order to add to our faith in God. Can you think of some good things that we should be doing for God?
