I Peter 4:9

I Peter 4:9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. Hospitality means to invite someone over to your house for a meal. It means for you to open your house to someone else. You are nice to them and try to make them feel at home in your house. But our verse says that we should use hospitality. The point is why do we invite people over to our house? Is it to show them how many great toys we have? Is it to show them how nice our room is? Or is it to make them feel at home in our house? To be a real friend to them? Now that is using hospitality. We should be glad to use hospitality. After all, isn’t that what Jesus would do if He were here?
