II Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one
thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years
as one day. Our verse for today reminds us that time means nothing to God.
God is ever present. God is in the future now and God is in the past now. He is
outside of time. We have a hard time wrapping our brain around that idea
because we are stuck in time. We don’t know the future and we can’t do anything
about the past. But God is not limited by anything. Absolutely nothing! Isn’t
it great to put our faith in a powerful God who travels all through time?
