Mark 10:21,22

Mark 10:21,22 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. Jesus used an interesting trick to speak to this rich young man. Jesus knew that the only way that this man could be saved was to trust in God by faith. So Jesus told the man to sell everything that he had and to give it all away. When he did, he would have treasure in heaven. Jesus knew that the young man was wealthy and Jesus knew that the young man would not give up his wealth. And that was the whole point. In order to be saved, you can have nothing ahead of God. You must kneel in humble faith in God and trust in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. In order to be saved, you must trust in Christ alone. I have, have you?
