Mark 9:30-32

Mark 9:30-32 And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it. For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day. But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him. Jesus went down to Jerusalem privately because He knew that He was going to soon die on the cross. He didn’t want to cause a scene until it was time to die on the cross. He told the disciples what was going to take place, but they just couldn’t believe what they were hearing. They thought that Jesus was speaking in parables or deep sayings, or something else. They just didn’t get it. But after Jesus died, they thought back and realized what Jesus had been telling them. It was only after Jesus’ death that they understood. And I can’t blame the disciples. Jesus was telling them so many tremendous things that I am sure that their heads were buzzing. But after Jesus was gone back to heaven, they had time to sort everything out. They had time to remember. So ten years from now, come back to this blog. Come back and remember. It will make sense then. You will be much older and wiser. And just like the disciples, someday, you will be able to do great things for the Lord!
