Do things happen to us by accident? Well, that depends who is doing the
talking. Things take us by surprise, but
God knew they were coming. That’s
because He is in charge. God uses good
and bad events in our lives for our good and His glory. Does God forget where we are? Not on your life! Isaiah said it best in Isaiah 49:15 “Can a
woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son
of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have
graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” God gives us this picture of His love for
us. He has our names tattooed right on
the palms of His hands, where He sees them every day. He won’t forget you. He doesn’t want to forget you! Rest in that thought today.
