Your Train Ride

Life is like a train ride.  When you are young, you get on and begin the trip.  A little later, you have a few children, and all of you continue to ride on the train.  The children grow up and get off the train one at a time.  Your parents may get off the train in death.  Friends get on and off, some staying on your train longer than others.  But as you ride the train towards your final destination, only your mate is still by your side.  Other folk get off your train because they have their own trains to catch.  In the end, only you are left on your train.  Hey, the dear Lord has your train trip all planned out.  He knows the stops, the hills and curves, and the dangers on your trip toward your final home.  Your best plan is to travel with the dear Lord and let Him plan your trip.  David told Solomon in Psalm 127:1, “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”  God builds your house and God plans your life’s train trip.  However you may think of it, God knows the future and only He can plan the best trip possible.  Trust God: He will do what is best for you.
