Clever

 

I went to my primary care doctor (actually nurse practitioner) and she wanted to do some lab work.  So, I went to the in-house lab where they drew my blood.  As I signed in, the technician was notified automatically … by the tinkling of jingle bells.  The technician was clever and had attached a couple of bells to the pen chain that was attached to the clipboard.  As I signed in, the bells gently told her that the next patient was there.  Some folk are clever, and then there are the rest of us.  Jesus said in Matthew 6:8 not to use vain repetition in prayers, “for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”  The Holy Spirit doesn’t need bells attached to our prayers because He knows what we need even BEFORE we ask!  Now that’s really clever!
