I like to fry 2 eggs for breakfast. And to lubricate the skillet, I fry 1 slice of bacon (cut into 2 pieces so that I think that I have more bacon than I really do). But the bacon curls up and I can’t get it evenly cooked. So I repurposed my wife’s potato masher to flatten out the bacon. I call it “thinking outside of the box.” Is life not working out for you? Are you frustrated with the same, every-day-boring things? Are you not satisfied with your life? Hey, call on the Lord and make a change in your life. Think outside of the old box with the Lord’s direction. II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Grow a new self with God’s help and become the person that you want to be.
