Did you set your clocks back last night? If you didn’t. you’ll be an hour early to church this morning ,,, which isn’t a bad thing. I had to change 7 clocks last night! And since most of them are digital, I had to run them forward 23 hours. I have two three-hand clocks (hour, minute, and second hands) that I could move backwards one hour. But then there’s my little battery powered backup clock in the bedroom that I use if the power goes off. Since it isn’t lighted, I seldom look at it (only if the power goes off), I never bothered to move it forward last spring, so it was right on time this morning with no adjustment needed. Reminded me of the saying, “Even a broken clock is right twice a day.” Hey, like my little back-up clock, can the dear Lord count on you? Are you trustworthy? Luke 16:10, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.” Here’s some good advice: watch those details! Jesus said if you are faithful in little matters, God will trust you with bigger opportunities. But, if you are careless in little things, God can’t trust you with greater things. So today remember, “Attention to detail.”
