fallen Leaves

I park my truck in the front yard because I usually drive my car and I park it in the driveway.  The car gets much better gas mileage than the truck.  But the real reason that I park the truck in the front yard is because it leaves me more room on my driveway to work on my projects.  A tree in the front yard gives my truck convenient shade in the summer so the cab is a little cooler when I hop into it.  But in the late fall (like now on November 25), it also gives me piles of fallen leaves all over my truck.  I am reminded of the covenant that the good Lord made with Noah just after the flood.  Genesis 8:22, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”  God gives us everything that we need, including the seasons and the weather.  He sends the hot summer days (that Brother Carl likes) and He sends the cool late fall days (that I like).  He sends spring and summer leaves on trees to keep my truck cab cool and he sends the falling leaves that smother my truck.  So, today, when I am out raking the fallen leaves and burning or mulching them, I need to be reminded of the goodness of God.  Hey, consider yourself reminded of the goodness of God!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y81yIo1_3o8&list=RDy81yIo1_3o8&start_radio=1
