Asteroid 2018VP1 will have its closest approach to earth on November 2, the day before elections. Will it strike earth and end life as we know it? Probably not. NASA says it’s about the size of a car, will probably burn up before striking the earth, and may not even get close enough to the earth (0.41% chance) to do any damage. The elections on November 3 will be more likely to cause havoc because either party winning will trigger cries of foul from the other side. Neither are likely to accept the outcome. But hey, here’s a sure thing: Jesus may come ANY day. No, it’s true! Are you prepared for His second coming? Will you go up with Him (the “rapture” written about in I Thessalonians 4:13-18) or be left behind? You do understand that the choice is up to you? You can accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior now (then you’ll be in the first group) or you can take your chances without Him (you’ll be in the second group). Hey, I’m with Jesus. How about you? If not, are you prepared to take the risk? Hmmmm …?
