Nowadays, everyone is an expert. It amazes me how a Hollywood movie star can speak with authority on abortion, national security, and politics! When the news comes on, the television anchor sets up the problem, and then has two opposing experts. Each one explains how they are correct and the other one is delusional. Hey, I am glad that I can put my trust in the One who really knows everything about every topic. And that’s not just bragging. God made everything, God upholds everything, and God will work out every detail for His own purposes. God’s knowledge is not just opinion; God’s knowledge is all inclusive. Paul said in Romans 11:33, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” When you want real, factual information, and not just opinion, go directly to the source. Read the Word of God.
