Ecclesiastes
3:20-22 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast
that goeth downward to the earth? Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing
better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his
portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him? We trust
in a good God Who rules over the universe. He is in control of our lives and of
the things that happen to us. God knows what He is doing and Almighty God has
selected the best choices for us in our lives. But God has also given us a
choice. We can choose to follow God or to go our own way. And someday, we will
die. But our souls will live forever. We are not like animals; we were created
in the image of God, our Maker. We should obey God and obey His Word, the
Bible. And if we obey God, we will be happy when we face Him someday. God loves
us and we should love and obey Him.
