Ecclesiastes 7:3
Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart
is made better. Do you like when bad things happen to you? I don’t. But
hard times make us stronger. Bad times make us appreciative. sad times make us
hug our loved ones more. That is why Solomon said that sadness is good. How do
you know that you are having a good day unless you have had a bad day to
compare it to? How do you know happiness unless you have been sad? Don’t ever
forget, God gives us trouble so that we will enjoy peace. God gives us sadness
so that we will enjoy happiness. God allows sin and suffering so that we will
enjoy heaven and fellowship with Him.
