Hebrews 2:1

Hebrews 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. The word remember occurs 148 times in the Bible. That is amazing! So why does God remind us to remember? That is because we so often forget. If we didn’t forget so much, God wouldn’t have to tell us to remember. And the writer of Hebrews is telling us to get serious about the things that we have heard in church and in our Bible reading. We shouldn’t let them slip. Don’t let them slide by and be forgotten. Remember!
